Mr Lima's European Adventure

Day 1:

Well I have finally arrived in Berlin in Germany after a long 24 hour flight. We landed in Abu Dhabi where I managed to get a tiny little bit of sleep during our 3 hour stop. As for Berlin, it is simply amazing! I visited a historical museum which deals with the history of Berlin, I went into a bunker which was used in the Cold War, travelled around by the incredibly fast subway system and admired the wonderful architecture. Tomorrow I hope to do a 4 hour bike tour of the city but for now all I
need is a good night sleep. Yawn... Zzzzzz :)

Day 2 -5

Hi again, this time from Kraków in Poland. I have been having the most amazing time of my life.On the second day in Berlin (Germany) I went for a 4 hour bike ride around the city. We had a tour guide and he explained about the history of Berlin. There were so many beautiful historic buildings and so much to see. I was able to see the Berlin Wall which was this enormous (145km) wall that divided the city in two for 27 years.

The next day (day 3) I travelled to Kraków in Poland. The trip by bus took 8 hours so I took the
opportunity to mark some of your assessments and watch movies.

On Day 4, we visited some historic sites relating to WWII which was sad but very interesting. Again we went on a tour, this time it was 6 hours long and I can tell you I did not get bored at all.

On Day 5 I had a chance to relax a little bit and walk around Kraków. This is the most amazing city in the world! There are castles everywhere and HUGE churches. I went inside some of them and they were breathtaking. I had the most delicious breakfast in the world and also saw a man juggling a small soccer ball and doing loads of tricks. Tomorrow I will be heading to a city called Warsaw which is 2 hours away. We will be catching the train. Europe is so beautiful!

Day 6
Upon arriving in Warsaw we were met with the largest clock tower I have ever seen. It was massive. The train trip was also amazing. The trains in Europe are very reliable, fast and clean. Before we left I visited some castles and palaces in Kraków. It's like being in a Zelda game or a Disney movie at times.

Day 7
Today I took it nice and easy here in Warsaw. We wondered around for a while and visited the Old Town which is the old part of the city. It is very picturesque. Again, there were many castles and beautiful old buildings. It was good to recover a little bit.

Day 8 - Barcelona Day

Today was the big day, the day I finally saw Messi and watched favorite team Barcelona play. Let me begin by telling you that the train we caught to the game was packed by Barca fans. The whole city was so excited for the game. When we were walking to the stadium I could not hold back my
excitement. 88 000 Barca fans piled into the Nou Camp. The stadium is just so massive! It was so incredible when the player came out: Messi, Iniesta, Neymar, Suarez. I couldn't believe they were all there right in front of me. Messi played very well and actually scored his 500th goal of his career. The whole crowd went crazy and yes, I must admit, that I was very very happy and excited as well. It was a shame that they lost but nothing could take away from this once in a lifetime experience.

Day 9

Today was a little more relaxed. Seeing as though Barcelona is in Spain (which is a 3 hour flight west of Poland) I was able to speak Portuguese with the locals and they could understand some of what I was saying and vice versa. I visited many Barcelona FC shops, ate delicious ice cream and local foods and slacked up the sun. If you ever travel later in your life, I highly recommend visiting Barcelona.
